The story begins with Pierre Solignac, born in Versailles, of Aveyron origin, who lived in Russia in the 1990s amidst the adventures and opportunities offered by that era. His passion for spirits undoubtedly developed during this period when he was part of a leading French spirits company in Russia. Pierre discovered numerous recipes for 18th-century vodkas, the golden age of vodka, which had been forgotten over time.

Returning to his native France, Pierre, through hard work, was determined to recreate and adapt these ancient recipes in a small Charentais still in Brie-sous-Archiac. His goal: to restore vodka to its former glory by returning to the origins of vodka, bringing flavour back, and proving that vodka can be delicious. Mission accomplished.
